Case study
A group redesign of Reflect, a reflection tool created by Iman, including a working phone-to-desktop upload feature I built so a reflection captured and uploaded on your phone appears instantly on your desktop.

Reflect already existed as a tool that was originally vibe-coded by Iman, but it wasn't effective or easy to use. Our six-person team was asked to improve the reflection flow while keeping changes to the existing design minimal, and to back every decision with real user research rather than assumptions.
We ran user research and multiple rounds of stakeholder feedback, built and tested low-fidelity prototypes, and validated our final direction with an A/B test across ten participants. I led the onboarding and dashboard redesign, and separately built a phone-to-desktop upload feature: a small Node.js/Express server that lets a student scan a QR code on the desktop app, upload a recording, file, or text from their phone, and see it show up in the reflection list within seconds, no login or database needed.
The validated redesign gave the team evidence-backed direction for the reflection flow, and the upload feature solved a real friction point — reflections captured on the go no longer had to be manually transferred before a student could work with them on their desktop.
